War in Ukraine 2022 Russian army body armor 6B23-1. 2 missile battalion Armored vest 6B23 (also 6B23-1 and 6B23-2) are general service differentiated armored vests with improved characteristics.

It was adopted for service in 2003 by the order of the Minister of Defence ¹239 of 5.07.2003 to replace the armoured vests of "Zabralo" series (6B11, 6B11-1, 6B11-2, 6B11-3, 6B12, 6B12-1, 6B12-2 and 6B17). The bulletproof vest is a means of individual armor protection for personnel of combat units of the Army, Airborne Forces, and Navy Marines; it is designed to reduce the probability of being hit by small arms bullets, projectile fragments (mines, grenades) and cold weapons.
