Three layers of protection: 1. Strike Face consists of UHMWPE to protect against spall [bits of bullet and other shrapnel].

The Alumina square tile core. UHMWPE backing (impregnated with Alumina). There is an additional layer of foam protection to act as a buffer to absorb some of the impact, be confident in knowing that underneath this foam layer is the ceramic strike. There are no vulnerable areas on the surface area of this plate.

This plate is capable of greater ballistic threat protection than what Level III+ can offer. Tested 6x M855, then 15x 9mm 115gr, and x5. 38 Special 158gr on the same plate (See Pictures). Not a single bullet went through! Update: It has successfully survived military-grade AP ammo and multiple XM855 rounds on the same test, as seen on the Civilian Tactical video.

We are preparing to videotape the ultimate torture test by shooting the very same tested plate with a 30-06 black tip to prove that our plates offer unrivaled protection. We are an American (Florida) Corporation.

Go out there and live your best life fearlessly! DO NOT drop these plates, the ceramic strike face may crack, compromising the plate's performance. DO NOT leave these plates in your car or in a heated environment as the UHMWPE may be compromised by sustained (multi-day) exposure to heat. DO NOT touch the plate after being struck by a round.

The compromised alumina strike-face will likely be sharp and injuries may occur if contacted by bare skin. Alumina dust may be an irritant to humans, and compromised plates should be disposed of as soon as possible to minimize the risk of respiratory and/or allergic harm.
