We use 99%+ pure alumina ceramic for increased hardness and temperature resistance. Most American "famous" plates at this price point are monolithic, 90% alumina plates.

We apply American-made industrial adhesives between our ceramic tiles to bond them for increased multi-hit resistance. Superior mosaic ceramic configuration (as opposed to monolithic) allows for multi-hits without performance deterioration of surrounding ceramics. This is enhanced by using high-strength, American-made adhesives on the strike face and thermoplastic aramid or UHMWPE. This model complies with NIJ Standard 0101.06 for Ballistic Resistance of Body Armor.
