Taking apart a GTS ceramic armor plate. Item is custom made in the USA and is an edge-to-edge design. MADE IN EMERALD ISLE, NORTH CAROLINA, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. We vacuum bag every ceramic armor plate and use thermoplastic aramid and carbon fiber hybrid materials to enhance backface deformation, enhance multiple hit resistance and limit ceramic fragmentation.

Price per plate unless otherwise stated. 6"x 6" ceramic coverage - does not have a 1 foam edge. Thermoplastic aramid and carbon fiber ceramic fragmentation and crack arresting technology (see video). Standalone body armor but should be worn in a quality carrier or vest.

Standard: NIJ Level 3+ (RF2) Rifle Plate. Ballistic Material: Alumina Ceramic 99% pure and GTS Spec UHMWPE Backer. Outer Material (cover): Durable black, 600 denier water resistant nylon with strike face padding. Important notices regarding this item. The item is allowed within the USA in Part 121 of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) of the United States Munitions List (USML). By purchasing, buyers intend to use the item for personal use only and have no intention of exporting the item outside of the USA.

This item is not military issued. This item is a level 3(+) hard armor plate. Make sure that the strike face of the plate is situated toward the threat in accordance with the ballistic label. This model complies with NIJ Standard-0101.06 for Ballistic Resistance of Body Armor.
