PPE Defence level III+ Sic/UHMWPE ballistic plate 10x12. These plates weighs 4.23 pounds each and measures 10"x12", which fits in any standard sized plate carrier. Featuring a slim 0.75 profile and ergonomic curvature. The plates are made from Silicone ceramics with a polyethylene backplate (itself rated at Level IIIA). The ceramics have a mosaic pattern giving them improved multi-hit capabilities (compared to mono-block construction found on other plates).

Material: Silicone carbide Ceramics + Polyethylene (UHMWPE). This model complies with NIJ Standard-0101.06 for Ballistic Resistance of Body Armor. Special threat rated for M855/SS109 green tip and all lesser threats to include M193 ball, M80 ball, 7.62x39 MSC, 6mm ARC and pistol calibers.
