This model complies with NIJ Standard-for Ballistic Resistance of Body Armor. This is a set of 2, Ultra light All PE plates which provide superior protection against light fast rounds and you don't have near the spall because the bullet stays more intact. Weighing in at only 3 lbs 3 oz these offer better protection at 1/3 the weight and are much more comfortable to wear on long patrols or in high activity. Free trauma pads included to mitigate back face deformation by heavy rounds. Thickness is about 1" for plate and 3/4" for trauma pads. YOU ARE 18 years of age.
