Series offers the highest performance among any ballistic plates on the market. It's made from silicon carbide (SiC) ceramics that are harder and lighter than alumina ceramics. Model has a honeycomb mosaic patter covering 9.5x11.5. We also tested them with 2 rounds of 7.62 NATO M80, 2 rounds of 5.56 M193 and 2 rounds of 5.56 M855.

When 2 7.62mm struck the same ceramic tile, the 2nd round went through as expected. There were no other penetration.

Backface deformation was well controlled at 1/3" for the 5.56 rounds, and 3/4" for the 3 7.62 rounds struck within 1.5 apart. Ultra Light Level III+ plates weigh in at mere 4.6 lbs vs 7+ lbs that our competitors offer. These provide the similar performance as top plates costing 3 times more.
