Model has a honeycomb mosaic patter covering 9x11.5. We also tested them with 2 rounds of 7.62 NATO M80, 2 rounds of 5.56 M193 and 2 rounds of 5.56 M855. When 2 7.62mm struck the same ceramic tile, the 2nd round went through as expected. There were no other penetration. Backface deformation was well controlled at 1/3" for the 5.56 rounds, and 3/4" for the 3 7.62 rounds struck within 1.5 apart.
