Ballistic material is a proprietary UHMWPE brand called TAC-TEX.. The entire load out including thigh protectors weighs an astounding 13LBS!!! One of the lightest systems in the world. System features a unique 10"x12" Lower back/ Buttox protector. This adds full IIIA protection where other vest systems lack.

This panel can be fully detached if desired or folded in and attached via Velcro for added protection to your mid to upper back. This can also be done with the groin protector to add protection to your chest and abdominal area. Note this will not protect against rifle rounds or any ammunition not designed for NIJ IIIA. Comes equipped with two pockets for front and back 10"x12" rifle plates as well as two side pockets for 5"x5" plates. Comes equipped with a MilSpec quick release system to ensure rapid disassembly in the event you need to shed the armor.

Offers protection in Collar, front, back, sides, upper arms, groin, lower back/buttox and thighs. Protect up to 70% of your body without sacrificing weight 13lbs full load out!!
