2 NIJ LEVEL IIIa lightweight NIJ armor panels from Safariland. I have 10 sets that range from 12" high x 14" wide to 18" high and 22".

These were the preferred armor issued to US multiple government agencies for many years and it's noted on the armor itself. If it's good for our agencies it's good for most of us. These armor plates come with two 6x8 3A rated trauma pads, designed to be worn under clothing, or your plate carrier.

They are Breathable, light, and flexible - a practicals solution to daily protection. The armor will be sized appropriately to accommodate your dimensions.

DM ME WITH QUESTIONS and always remember to let me know if you're LEO, Vet, teacher, or active duty. Some education on 2 vs 3a. The two main types of body armor that may be the right choices for you are level II and IIIA. Taking the time to find the difference between the two levels will ensure that you can get the protection that you need.

Level II body armor is designed to be lightweight and still very protective. The panels protect from 9 mm Sub-Machine guns, 9mm handguns, and even 357 + 44 caliber. The body armor is made of multiple layers of Kevlar. The Kevlar provides a very lightweight protection option that can be worn in many different types of carriers.

The Level II body armor provides ideal protection for the council workforce, officers, and even civilians. It is enough protection to ensure that someone can withstand an assault without having to feel weighed down by the protection. The lightweight material makes it easy to be able to run or maneuver during stressful situations and will fit into the front and back of the carrier to provide ample protection from both angles. Level IIIA is a type of soft armor. The materials used to create the Level IIIA and the Level III options are different.

The Level III armors are made of hard material. The hard body armor that is used to make the Level III body armor can be used on the outside of the softer options to provide maximum protection. The level IIIA body armor will protect against many small arms weapons. The 9 mm, 44 magnums, and just about any other handgun will not be able to cause serious injury to someone that is shot in the chest while wearing one of these types of body armor.

Although remember there's no such thing as bullet proof. Both the Level II and Level IIIA body armor will provide ample protection when needed most. You need to be sure that you take the time to choose a carrier that fits you properly. Both types of body armor can be worn on the exterior or the interior of your clothing. You need to get the right type of carrier for however you plan to wear the body armor though.

That's why I measure each one out and can provide you with an entire kit including vest if you'd like. This takes the guess work out of it and eliminates the number one issue new armor buyers face - carrier compatibility and fitment. This model complies with NIJ Standard-for Ballistic Resistance of Body Armor. All photos are actual images, no stock photos. Please message me with your dimensions/size.
