This kit contains 1 regular SAPI cut (typically used in back) and 1 advanced swimmer cut plate (typically used in front)! Our swimmer cut was made to ensure a better range of motion when drawing your firearms, more room in the front plate for shouldering rifles, and will increase mobility since it is lighter! (2) AR500 Curved Body Armor Plates - 1 Standard SAPI Cut & 1 Advanced Swimmer Cut. Plate Sizes: 10" x 12". SAPI Weight: Approximately 8.4 lbs / Advanced Swimmer Cut: Approximately 7.7 Lbs. Curved to accommodate natural angle of body. Fully encapsulated base coat to protect against corrosion, sweat, etc.

Laser cut to ensure armor longevity and edge durability (see attached picture). Rated for up to 6 hits from 7.62 x 51. Ability to be used in front and/or back. This model complies with NIJ Standard-0101.06 for Ballistic Resistance of Body Armor.
