MODEL: GTS-1012-AL Configuration "S" for Standard will appear on the ballistic tag. This model complies with NIJ Standard 0101.06 for Ballistic Resistance of Body Armor. In an effort at transparancy and as evidence that our plates perform as advertised, we have tested our armor against the following calibers (RF1 and RF2 Categories - with test reports from NIJ-approved labs). 7.62x51mm, 7.62x39mm (MSC, AK-47), M193, M855, M855-A1, SS109, M193.

This armor plate is made in the USA! Our GTS line meets both NIJ 0101.06 and NIJ 0101.07 standards for the challenging RF2 category (special threat).

Make sure that the STRIKE FACE (see ballistic tag) is situated toward the threat and the plate(s) is carried in a quality vest or carrier. Superior mosaic ceramic configuration (as opposed to monolithic) allows for multi-hits without performance deterioration of surrounding ceramics. This is NOT a military item.
