Plate Carrier, cummerbund kit, and plates in excellent condition! Not everyone wants, needs, or can use a large plate carrier. If size is an important criterion in your armor selection, look no further than the AR FreemanT plate carrier from Armored Republic.

Included in this bundle set-up is the plate carrier, two rifle-rated 9" x 9" plates, and a multicam Cummerbund Kit (improvised install: not intended for Freeman Plate Carrier). Compact enough to fit under your vehicle seat or daypack, the Freeman carrier covers your most vital organs without weighing you down in an oversized carrier or restricting your mobility.

The proprietary 9" x 9" octagonal Level III body armor steel plates are lightweight and the carrier is laser cut from laminated Cordura® nylon and has six full rows of MOLLE webbing. Hypalon® shoulder straps allow for near-unobstructed movement and the ability to shoulder a rifle.

Whether it's as a primary armor set up for a second member of the family or a second carrier for your vehicle or office, the Freeman offers great value for a modest price. The A1 - Alloy Body Armor is able to stop level III+ threats. And unlike ceramic or polyethylene material, this custom steel alloy blend is able to take several hits from these rounds without fail. This multi-hit special threat resistance is the distinguishing quality of the A1 plate. The FragLockT coating provides a maintenance-free shelf life of twenty years, which makes this steel plate last much longer than polyethylene or ceramic alternatives.

Our Build-Up Coat prevents fragmentation injury, while our Base Coat seals the armor plates up from sweat. Body Armor Plate Material: Ballistic steel and alloy blend of 650 hardness on the Brinell scale, with FragLockT Coating.
