If we build stock - we will not be able to take images but we will do so if at all possible. Every plate we build and sell is equipped with. Vacuum bagging for a consistent adhesive layer thickness. High-tech, super strong but elastic adhesives between the tile and between the ceramic and the polyethylene backing material. Thermoplastic aramid and carbon fiber/ or solid UHMWPE strike face treatments that arrest ceramic cracking and reduce ceramic fragments (built in, highly effective spall control).

Level of "spall" ceramic fragment control: This item is equipped with basic ceramic particle control which is adequate when worn in a quality carrier. Angled lower corners (instead of square) facilitates fit into a number of different carriers.

Shelf Life: Minimum 5 years. Plates can be used as front or rear plates. Make sure that the STRIKE FACE is situated toward the threat and the plate(s) is carried in a quality vest or carrier. We use 99%+ pure alumina ceramic for increased hardness and temperature resistance. Most American "famous" plates at this price point are monolithic, 90% alumina plates.

We apply American-made industrial adhesives between our ceramic tiles to bond them for increased multi-hit resistance. Superior mosaic ceramic configuration (as opposed to monolithic) allows for multi-hits without performance deterioration of surrounding ceramics. This is enhanced by using high-strength, American-made adhesives on the strike face and thermoplastic aramid in varying thicknesses. Price is for a single plate.

This model complies with NIJ Standard 0101.06 for Ballistic Resistance of Body Armor. This is NOT a military item. This is a level III hard armor SAPI cut plate (non-military). This item is manufactured by GTS in Emerald Isle, North Carolina.

Items identified on the US Munitions List found in the ITAR Part 121 that are allowed such as commercially available body armor, firearm scopes, and night vision goggles must follow all applicable laws and meet all of the following criteria.
