For sale is a set (2 pieces) of. Level IIIA ballistic armor plates, each weighs in at 1.2 pounds and measures 10"x12". It's 0.25 thick and has an ergonomic curvature.

These plates has been independently tested by NTS-Chesapeake (officially approved lab) according current standards with 6 rounds of. 44Mag and had zero penetrations.

We also tested them with 10 rounds of 9mm from 16" carbine from 15" away, with zero penetrations. All rounds were captured within 1/3 of the thickness. It has a waterproof polyester/nylon cover ensuring the plate will last its 5 year shelf life.

Rated at Level lIIA this plate is capable of taking multiple pistol rounds. These plates offer significantly better trauma protection over soft armor. This model complies with NIJ Standard-0101.06 for Ballistic Resistance of Body Armor.
