These are first generation of USGl Monolithic Ceramic Plates made from SILICON CARBIDE, these ARE NOT. The BORON CARBIDE Enhanced Version of these Plates. PLATES ARE IN CONJUNCTION WITH, THEY ARE NOT STAND ALONE!

YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST LEVEL II SOFT ARMOR BEHIND THEM OR THEY WILL NOT DEFEAT THE THREAT LEVEL STATED ON THE PLATE. PLATES ARE IN GOOD BALLISTIC SHAPE. CORNERS AND EDGES ARE IN GOOD SHAPE. SOME OF THE WHITE LETTERING ON THE STRlKE FACE AND ON THE BACK FACE HAS RUBBED OFF OVER TIME. IT APPEARS THAT THE PREVIOUS OWNER RE-SEALED THE EDGES AND CORNERS OF THE CADORA NYLON TO MAINTAIN WATER RESISTANT CAPABILITIES. THE BALLISTICS ARE NOT COMPROMISED.
